There is (apparently) a picture circulating among teenagers mobile phones in the South-East of Ireland which supposedly depicts a girl wearing a school jumper in a very comprimising position. No one has yet successfully identified the girl. The issue has been covered extensively on the national media.
Apparently the police are saying that they will prosecute anyone who distributes or possesses the picture.
A group called CARI is calling for all pre-paid mobile phones to be registered, to avoid their being used in this way.
There is a lot of fear about the use of mobile phone cameras. As a culture we aren’t that used to cameras and observation.
I saw a web page recently about a guy who goes everywhere wearing a video camera which records everything. When he goes into shops, he is asked to switch off the camera. He replies by pointing at the surveillance cameras in the store, and by explaining that it’s his boss’s policy that he must record everything he does. (I can’t find the link at the moment.)

Hilarious. How the hell would that help?
I hate camera mobile phones. I’m sick of people walking up to me in the street and taking pictures of me. Even my friends do it. They are an invasion of privacy!
