Dublin City Council has a pretty decent planning permission search service. It’s been around for a while, but the user interface has really improved over the last few months. There are still some difficulties accessing the scanned documents that accompany every application, but it’s definitely getting better. The software comes from a company called SwiftLG

if i put in the address to search for planning applications i get no applications found but if i put in the ref no i get a hit why?eg:
i put in 63,Hollybrook Road,Clontarf responce from the site is no matching applications found
but if i put in 2311/06 as a reference no i get details
but i dont know if another application has been put in instead of 2311/06
